Sept. 19 late afternoon looking almost into the sun using one hand as a lens hood I made this image. Problem with many Zoom lenses you can’t put a hood on them because the varying focal length either will vignette on the wide end of the lens or not cover enough to prevent flare. This tool may be made I just haven’t seen one. An asst. holding a steno pad works best. I don’t like to shoot with one hand at less than 1/250. I know some cameras have auto stabilizer but I still prefer prime lens and film. enjoy pjc
Out of Order, The Foundation of Freedom
Between Here and There Dreams Then and Now.
Porch sitting as the sun set. Past I thought I’d end up in an old farm but the road between Here and There has had many turns some sharp each making There closer than Here. I’ve past this porch 2-4 times a week for over a year as I go to visit a sick friend. As I told the owners I have been stocking your porch lol. In truth I have watching times of day light and falling leaves seasons. Sunday I went by and knew the next day at 6pm would be perfect. Arriving at 5:45 I had time to park and walk to the front this is the second image, perfect timing. Ya that’s how I work I could have exposed it at any other time and Post Processed it, but that isn’t me! Nail the exposure and you have the image and emotion you wanted sure I dodged a bit in ceiling shadow. The Golden Hour…………………………. peace pjc
While in Willi I had a porch where Laurel and I would watch the early golden hour with coffee so peaceful.
