A Life in Photographic Art My second book
Since arriving in Norwich I have been documenting the Cities attempt to revitalize in a very harsh economy. The Wauregan’s restoration is a focal point in downtown. The back wall has been a subject of mine for most of the nine years. First a shot from my “Layered Life Series” that abstractly presents 100 or more years of history, [difficult to see the nuances of downtown Trolleys in reflection at 72 pixels see comment here] to the second image from the restoration and the third image of the old Painted logo/Hotel name.
August Nineteenth 2004
The third image brings me full circle as it speaks of the influence of Walker Evans on my images. The painted wall art of the 30’s Walker’s images were portraits of a nation, of the people but often without a person. These three images briefly tell a story of Norwich history through my lens/eyes, changing facades. A sketch of the past an outline to the future.

Spend a few minutes seeing through my eyes follow the links poetry and philosophy of a pondering artist obviously not a 140 character man. Rich, poor by who’s standards? Smell the Roses.
A place to print thousands of moments,
millions of stories all unfinished. enjoy pjc
