Listening to the weather and observing there has been a real shortfall of rain in Western Wa. April 20th around 4 pm part of a five mile walk I came across this runoff at Tumwater Falls Park. The parks trails with the sound of the river rushing allows me to walk along and sing, no one can hear me unless the are standing beside me and by the time they get that close I stop. enjoy pjc
December Rainy Day
After a day of heavy rain and high wind a walk to the market provides a puddle of inspiration. Clouds are grand as they stream by in a fast upper air current.
I am still fascinated by weather. enjoy pjc
Photographic Art Image made on Velvia color transparency film.
Along Route 6 Colors of Autumn Back Light.
Sept. 19 late afternoon looking almost into the sun using one hand as a lens hood I made this image. Problem with many Zoom lenses you can’t put a hood on them because the varying focal length either will vignette on the wide end of the lens or not cover enough to prevent flare. This tool may be made I just haven’t seen one. An asst. holding a steno pad works best. I don’t like to shoot with one hand at less than 1/250. I know some cameras have auto stabilizer but I still prefer prime lens and film. enjoy pjc
