Smiles and Sun Greeted Folks at Artist’s in the Country
Ann Chuk smiling here as she passes out raffle tickets winners. Her smile and the support of many volunteers has lit up the fields of a farm in E. Woodstock Ct. for 14 years, with all the proceeds going to
Camp Quinebaug in Killingly.
This years show was dedicated to Arnold Prince who was always there teaching the children who have their own show in the barn. He would bring one of his sculptures made from bent pieces of wood here is an Eagle Arnold created.

Along Route 6 Colors of Autumn Back Light.
Sept. 19 late afternoon looking almost into the sun using one hand as a lens hood I made this image. Problem with many Zoom lenses you can’t put a hood on them because the varying focal length either will vignette on the wide end of the lens or not cover enough to prevent flare. This tool may be made I just haven’t seen one. An asst. holding a steno pad works best. I don’t like to shoot with one hand at less than 1/250. I know some cameras have auto stabilizer but I still prefer prime lens and film. enjoy pjc
