Many of us in Connecticut tried to keep in touch with Peter after he moved to Olympia, but we were less familiar with the details of his life there. In this wonderful video from Homes First, Peter’s daughter Kirsten shares Peter’s touching story. As he neared the end of his life, Peter found support and comfort from his beloved family, and the kind folks at Homes First. I’ve included a donation link here.
The sound of his voice after all this time really had a profound impact.
I am shocked as I met Peter when I was 18 and worked with him at the Willimantic Camera store. He was a mentor and friend.
