I have so many wonderful memories of Peter. He started coming to my cafe in Norwich about 2003 for coffee and became a much loved friend. When I moved back to Albuquerque a number of years ago, he came for a visit and it was so much fun showing him around a place I know so well but seeing it anew through his eyes. I’m so happy to have acquired quite a few of his photos over the years, especially one he did of my parents. He had such a vision and a passionate creativity. He made me think and made me laugh and I loved him dearly. I will sorely miss him but I know the past few years have been challenging and am glad he is at rest.
Peace, Lisa

I discovered Peter’s photography in 2010 and purchased prints over the years, enjoying each one better than the last. We never met in person, but shared emails and letters over the years. He was a remarkable man and artist, sharing his philosophy and observations through the lens of his camera. No doubt, I am among many whose lives were touched by him. I’m so sad that our long distance conversations have come to an end. My view of the world will become smaller without the images he shared. My condolences to his daughter and his beloved granddaughter, Inara. Peace, dear Peter.

I only met Peter virtually and immediately saw the beauty of his soul, which he lovingly captured in his photos. I had hoped to showcase Peter’s work on artskeeper.org, a new artist community. I’m so very sorry to learn of his passing. Go in Peace, Peter

Peter helped me see the beauty in everything. He taught me so much. I am truly thankful for the time I spent assisting him. I will miss our “vision quests”. We would pick a day and drive for hours. Up and down back roads in olympia. He loved the adventure. We got some great shots and he taught me so much about photography. Grandpa day, was definitely a favorite. All the silliness and fun was amazing! Blizzards, fries, and an afternoon at the park. Going to the market everyday for fresh veggies and fruits. Farmers market was another favorite. I miss him greatly. His art and knowledge will be treasured, always.
