Enough Snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This image is from late afternoon on Sunday the Tenth of February 2013. Early Fear Forecast has another coming this weekend. So get out for bread, milk, cat food, ya di ya di ya.
Now I have a question well a few but staying on track here the question regards snow. Well it is a two part question. First who names big Nor’easters? Before arriving in the media capital this storm was Charlotte. Then it became “Nemo” think Disney, ABC, ESPN. So the second part of the question is the National Weather Center selling storm names? Like baseball stadiums? Maybe it is me and the storm never changed. enjoy pjc

My understanding is, winter storms are not named because they form quickly and impact a limited area over a short time. Tropical storms are named because they live for a long, long time, and impact wide geographic ranges. \’Nemo\’ was the Weather Channel\’s (NBC) pet name, and \’Charlotte\’ was Channel 3\’s (CBS) name. It caused enough confusion that hopefully, they won\’t pull that silliness again.

Sort of sounds like a digital image. I think that you have it right though all the winter folk got carried away with the naming of snow storms. Better than Hurriblizzard. enjoy pjc
