When the Dust Settles
When the dust settles
Clarity and clean air
Will fill the void
When the dust settles
Winter will be washed away
From the sidewalks and roads
From the infrastructure
Left behind by man
When the dust settles
Plants will fill the cracks
Animals will share
Greed will be replaced by sanity
When will the dust settle?

Sukumar says
The dust ain’t never gonna settle. The genie is out of the bottle. The oceans fill with oil, the air chokes with soot, rivers shall run blood, as the last of our accursed kind drags his miserable soul out of this tortured world.
Then shall this shattered earth rejoice and look forward to a new beginning, as some oil-eating bacterium crawls out of the primordial ooze to gaze at a red sun and lay his seed in the mud.

Didn’t I say that, albeit more poetic less scientific but same sentiment. enjoy pjc

Meeta,
Thank you I also hope the dust will settle in time. Sukumar though make a strong scientific point. “You don’t need a weather man to know which way the wind blows” It is a Bob Dylan type of day her in Connecticut. enjoy pjc
