Norm’s Diner 171 Bridge Street Groton Ct has Style!
Three pm on a sizzling Sunday a break in the action at Norm’s gives me a moment to play with the mosaic of time. Conversation with Davo pauses as my mind drifts to the 50’s. I love diners, small business and the people, real people. Norm’s has that welcoming feel the kind that is absent in the rubber stamp Mallonian “food” industry.
Stop by enjoy some eggs, linger with the paper, conversation humanity. Support small business it is the backbone of your town. Parking is shaded by trees a nice feature you won’t find at the Mall.

These are fantastic, Peter. Your love of diners is apparent. I have many memories of Norm’s, as it’s always been the only place in town to get food in the middle of the night. And thanks for the reminder of how special our local independent businesses are. Once these are gone, they won’t be back. And just try getting food like this at 3 am (or 3 pm) at McD’s.
