All the world is becoming a stage for me and this actor prepping for a performance of “Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”
Performed by “The Rag-a-Muffin Theatre” from Wooster College Ohio, touring New England this stop at the Pawtucket Library. During the early eighties I lived in Providence and began to photograph a lot of performing arts. I was staff production photographer for “Rites and Reason” the theater wing of Afro American Studies at Brown University, The Providence Public Theater, Mary Paula Hunter and her dancers.etc.
So Decades see I lived beyond the Seventies, unfortunately my last computer didn’t so it is taking me time to set up the slide and neg scanner. More from the 70’s, 80,s 90’s to come soon.
Who remembers Tab? It was more than just a mirror stand in the multi purpose room at the Library that was converted for two nights into a dressing room. enjoy pjc

“Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”?? Sounds enjoyable even if I have never heard of it. As you know I am a great fan of your theatrical work, and you even carry it into the candid scene to give one a more overall view of the whole operation. I know a small stage theatrical performer here in Flagstaff and admire her dedication to it, even if it is just love for the art, such as we photographers sometimes are??
