For now, if the computer keeps working and that’s a big if I will continue. If not I won’t.
So my stroll through the Borough is complete even the manholes have a signature and even the tar has a nice design element. Actually I have been back for another stroll but those images are for another time. Just cause I shoot 30-40 images I don’t find it necessary to immediately put them all up whether they are good or not. Friday night a friend was showing me her brand new laptop, she went to my site and the images looked like shit. I told her she should calibrate the monitor. Her response was that photos to her look pretty good that they always looked this way and she had gotten used to it, obviously so has the computer manufacturing world as the default made all the images look like shit, not just on my site. America where shit is the expected norm and we the people buy it all the time. Just ask your Senator they will be happy to sell you some. enjoy pjc
Ps In previous post. The Door is Orange and the wall is Deep Blue Rich Saturated color, not muddy grays, and the vanilla of my recent blogs is over.

Peter, you post made my day, I’m laughing so hard here:). I know it’s not so funny but we have to make it funny in order to make it right, and you do:)
This picture is so good. But You are right, we all get used to shit….and we should train not to. Go and see life photo exhibitions sometimes. Which I can’t cause you are far. But my screen is nicely calibrated so it’s almost ok, no?
a hug from Paris

Let me tell you what I see when I view your website.
Last post from Stonington – I see very good grey in the streets as should be for that subject. The clothes rack has a lime green shirt and I can see the embroidery of blue flowers on it and some red at the bottom. Behind it is a yellow garment, and the long dress hanging up is of off-white which should be?? A dark pink sign above the wicker basket which for wicker the color is right on.
Peeling Paint and Lonely Bikes – Shows the true color of dilapidated paint, white but off-grey as it should be with aging?? The flower vase in the window shows it green color well, and the flowers have muted magenta, green, white, and yellow tones, none real brilliant as it should be when being viewed through a window such as in the scene. The viewing of the window frame with sunlight shinning on it inside has a yellow or more correctly a muted butterscotch color to it. The bikes come through as a true yellow, white and dark blue which the dark blue I perceive as maybe metallic of a sort?? Behind the blue bikes rear wheel is a patch of vegetation which has good green color to be such a small area, must be a fertile spot?? The helmet are fine esp. the blue one which has good color, a soft blue, and the wicker basket look good also.
Anyway, that is what I see on my monitor.
