So it’s that time of year again where we all try to spend more than we make knowing that being in debt is the American way. We could shoplift, use other peoples money which we acquired through lies, fraud and insider trading etc. Knowing that the well placed bribes to Senators would result in a bailout/handout. Ho Ho ho! But if you have forgotten to be a good public scoundrel well you lose for the transparent Wall Street bailout has disappeared into the pockets of the rich not to save their subprime morality and the homes of the working poor, but to buy up the small banks so your freedom of choice is limited to One! One bank, One GreatWallofChinaMart, One Nation Under the heal of the CEO greedier than the plant in “Little Shop of Horrors.”
So this year “We The People” must stand up and support small business buy from owner operated businesses, mom and pop stores. Local Musicians, small local restaurants cause if you think you’re saving money at the big box your just feeding the monster that will take you away in a pine box as soon as you have nothing left to steal.

Peter, I could not have said it any better myself! All the big chains just gobble up all of the little guys. And when there is a question or a problem, 9 times out of 10 its the little guys who are going to take the time and give you the one on one attention needed to help you! It’s all of us mom and pops who actually care about the customer/client because we know that without you, the consumer, we have no future. Thanx for putting it out there Peter.
Ha Ha Ha! Too late! They already took away the jobs of the little people so they can’t shop anywhere and the little shops are already closing. Soon there will be only one company store and they will always charge more than they pay.
As it stands now, WallStreet owns more wealth than exists in the world and at the standard rate of interest, which is whatever they want to charge, our nation will forever be a nation of credit slaves.
The Beast has arrived. Those who have consumed shall now be consumed.
Peter, great post, these thoughts are good for this time right before Christmas,I hope that people don’t let themselves be fooled by voices who tell them that if they do not spend more money with the big companies, the world is doomed…
